Not every man has the courage and strength to run straight into danger to save a life, but that's exactly what the Pararescue Specialist does. Pararescue Specialists are highly trained experts in search and rescue operations. You may find yourself parachuting into hostile territory to retrieve a comrade lost behind enemy lines, or diving into ice-cold waters to rescue a family during a life-threatening hurricane. There is never a dull moment in the life of an Air National Guard Pararescue Specialist.
