Medical Insurance

Coverage is offered through TRICARE Reserve Select and is a premium-based health plan available worldwide to Selected Reserve members of the Ready Reserve (and their families) who are not eligible for, or enrolled in the Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB) program.

Dental Insurance

With the TRICARE Dental Program (TDP), you will enjoy a nationwide network of more than 65,000 participating dentists, high-quality customer service and comprehensive dental coverage designed specifically with you in mind.

Life Insurance

Serviceman's Group Life Insurance (SGLI) - SGLI is a low cost group life insurance members of the Air Guard can purchase. SGLI coverage is available in $50,000 increments up to the maximum of $400,000.

State & Territory Benefits

While all Air Guard members receive federal benefits, most also receive some form of benefits specific to their state. This could include money for school or state tax benefits.

Understand My Pay

Annual Training Pay is the total compensation for two weeks of training. Monthly Drill Pay is the monthly amount you receive for serving 1 weekend a month at your ANG base. The Annual Drill Pay represents the yearly total for all 12 months of Monthly Drill Pay. Your actual compensation may differ due to a number of factors.
