Did you know that you could start a flourishing career in music in the Air National Guard? Talented musicians perform in a variety of musical groups in the Air Guard, including symphonic concert band, marching band, and jazz, rock, country, and reception combos. You’ll perform at events like military ceremonies as well as concerts in schools, public parades, and concerts in support of Air Guard community relations. You’ll need to audition and demonstrate skills like sight reading music and playing from memory in order to join an Air Guard band. The Air Guard Regional Bands are an important part of sustaining the Air National Guard morale and is integral in weaving Air Guard units into the communities they share.
