Special Operations Weather

As a Special Operations Weather Specialist, you'll be a Battlefield Airman, often imbedded within Army or Marine Special Forces units. Airmen in this field use high-tech atmospheric instruments to retrieve data from radar and weather satellites, then relay it to teams as they carry out high-risk missions. Given the demanding conditions you will work in, you'll receive extensive combat and survival skills training. You will deploy around the world and may operate under austere conditions for extended periods. Needless to say, life as a Special Operations Weather Specialist is not for the faint of heart.
