In Indian Springs, we perform the Remotely Piloted Aircraft mission. This involves a variety of operations, including close air support, air interdiction, intelligence collection and quick strike capabilities with minimal danger to military personnel. In addition we perform Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR).
The 232 Operations Squadron (232 OS) provides expert training to the ANG, ARC, and RegAF warfighters on advanced Tactics, Techniques, and procedures; new aircraft technologies; and new weapons innovations for the Remotely Piloted Aircraft community. 232 OS Operations, Intelligence, and Maintenance personnel are technical experts supporting National Guard Bureau and Nevada State initiatives in the rapidly expanding and dynamic field of Remotely Piloted Aircraft and Unmanned Aircraft Technologies.
