As an Aircrew Flight Equipment Specialist, your responsibilities could mean the difference between life and death, so attention to detail and getting it right is critical. In addition to maintaining all emergency safety equipment like parachutes and survival kits, you'll also be in charge of ensuring all flight equipment is in perfect working order — from flight helmets to oxygen masks. Hopefully many of the things you work on will never be needed, but they are necessary in the case of an emergency. With you performing your job, aircrews and pilots fly safely every day.
