Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape

Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape

In the improbable but possible event that an aircraft goes down and the aircrew is scattered, each and every team member must be specially trained to survive in harsh terrain and weather on their own, and must be prepared to evade the enemy and resist, should they be captured. The Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) Specialist is the expert that trains Air National Guard members in those skills and more, preparing them for anything that they may encounter in hostile territory.
