Computer Systems Programming

As a Computer Systems Programming Specialist, you'll write code and programs that are essential to maintaining our military capabilities. You'll create everything from maintenance tracking programs to programs designed to organize and display intelligence data. In this career, you'll gain training and experience as a computer analyst, coder, tester and manager in the design, development, maintenance, testing, configuration management, and documentation of application software systems, client-server, and web-enabled software and relational database systems critical to war-fighting capabilities. The skills and experience you'll gain as a Computer Systems Programming Specialist will also transfer to a civilian career computer programming career.
