Emergency Management

In times of emergency, the Emergency Management Specialist is prepared for every possibility and must respond instantly with a plan when disaster strikes. As an Emergency Management Specialist, you are responsible for your Air Guard base’s ability to withstand and recover from attack during war and from natural disasters during peacetime. You will write and implement the plans used by members of your Air Guard unit to react to military or terrorist attacks, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, and any other catastrophe that may strike.
