In order to accomplish your mission, you must have a blueprint for success. And that's exactly what you'll be creating as an Air National Guard Engineering Specialist. You'll be directing and performing civil engineering design, drafting, surveying, and contract surveillance to support Air Guard facility construction and maintenance programs. You'll help plan, manage and reward construction jobs for a large variety of projects, and create blueprints and plans for building designs. The skills you'll learn as an Engineering Specialist are directly transferable into a civilian engineering or architectural career. You'll become an expert at project mapping operations, construction support surveys, road operations, road construction, and building and utilities layout surveys, along with conventional and computer aided drafting (CAD).
