Water & Fuel Systems Maintenance

Water and Fuel Systems Maintenance Specialists are key to maintaining the Air National Guard's high environmental standards. The skills you'll learn in this specialty will translate easily into a successful civilian career in plumbing or water treatment. As a Water and Fuel Systems Maintenance Specialist, you will learn principles of operation and construction, features of backflow prevention devices, natural gas distribution systems, and fire suppression systems. You'll also learn to operate and set up field water purification units and field water distribution systems, as well as wastewater collection and disposal systems.
