As a Bioenvironmental Engineer, you’ll work to ensure the safety of your team members by applying engineering and scientific knowledge to your Air Guard unit’s work environment. Blending engineering and preventive medicine, Bioenvironmental Engineers identify and evaluate potential hazards and develop plans and programs to prevent injuries and illnesses. The key areas that Bioenvironmental Engineers focus on are industrial hygiene, occupational health, radiological health, and environmental protection. Performing this highly specialized job will also prepare you for a successful civilian career in Bioenvironmental Engineering.
