When it comes to maintaining the physical fitness of our Air National Guard servicemembers, nothing could be more important than caring for the most vital organs in the human body – the heart and lungs. As a Cardiopulmonary Laboratory Specialist, you'll be trained to assist doctors who diagnose and treat diseases of the heart and lungs. You'll learn how to perform blood tests, electrocardiograms and ultrasounds, and assist with catheterizations. In this role, you’ll be protecting the lifeblood of the Air National Guard – its people.
