Caring for the health and well being of Air Guard members is an essential part of maintaining a mission-ready unit. The Air Force operates a global healthcare system that ranges from regional clinics to trauma one medical centers, and keeping these facilities fully stocked with the medical tools and supplies that they need is the responsibility of Medical Material Specialist. In this job, you’ll be performing and managing preparation and maintenance of medical material records, as well as requesting, receiving, storing, issuing, safeguarding, and accounting for medical supplies and equipment. It takes organized, detail-oriented people to make sure our servicemen and women get the care they need, which makes the Medical Material Specialist an essential member of the Air Guard health care team.
