The Air National Guard’s most valuable asset is the many Airmen posted all around the world. Caring for the health and well being of these Air Guard members and their families is critical to maintaining the highest level of performance. The Air Force operates a global healthcare system that ranges from regional clinics to trauma one medical centers, and keeping these facilities up and running is the responsibility of Health Services Management Specialists. In this job, you’ll be admitting patients, preparing staffing plans, maintaining records, ensuring inventory readiness, and much more. It takes organized, detail-oriented people to make sure our servicemen and women get the care they need, which makes the Health Services Management Specialist a crucial member of the Air Guard health care team.
