As an Air National Guard Health Services Administrator, you're part of a unique team of trained health professionals working and training part time — getting ready to assist the Armed Forces in time of need. Performing annual training a few weeks a year, or on a more prolonged basis if the need arises, you'll be the facility commander for an entire hospital. This takes excellent organizational and leadership skills, not to mention experience in working and facilitating operations in a hospital. In this role, you’ll plan, program, and provide operations related to myriad activities. Some include medical facility command and administration, war and emergency planning, aeromedical evacuation, codification and construction, biometrics, and health and data systems design.
