Operating Room Nurse

As an Air National Guard Operating Room Nurse, you're part of a unique team of trained health professionals — professionals working and training part time, getting ready to assist the Armed Forces in time of need. Performing annual training a few weeks a year or on a more prolonged basis if the need arises, you'll be adapting the skills and knowledge you’ve gained in your civilian career to the military environment. You’ll provide professional nursing care to Air Guard and Armed Forces personnel undergoing surgery, as well as perform a variety of tasks unique to the military medical environment.
