Nursing Administrator

As an Air National Guard Nursing Administrator your part of a unique team of trained Health Professionals working and training part time getting ready to assist the Armed Forces in time of need. Performing annual training a few weeks a year or on a more prolonged basis if the need arises, you will be in charge of all the nursing professionals in your unit. You’ll assign jobs, evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing program, and provide staff development programs to create the best working environment possible for the people you manage, while providing the highest quality medical care to the patients they care for. You may also have the opportunity to work with humanitarian outreach programs and victims of natural disaster or conflict where your skills will be desperately needed.
