Orthopedic Surgeon

Virtually every career you can find in the civilian world exists in the Air National Guard as well. This is especially true in healthcare, because the health and well-being of our Airmen is critical to mission readiness. As an Air National Guard Orthopedic Surgeon, you're part of a unique team of trained health professionals — professionals working and training part time, getting ready to assist the Armed Forces in time of need. Performing annual training a few weeks a year or on a more prolonged basis if the need arises, you'll be examining, diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system, using both surgical and conservative means, while also managing orthopedic surgery services.
