To provide engagement, information gathering and precision strike and rescue operations worldwide. The special operations team consists of Combat Controllers (CCT), Pararescuemen (PJ), Tactical Air Control Party members (TACP) and Special Operations Weather Technicians (SOWT). Battlefield Airmen work on Combat Control Missions, Combat Weather Missions, Pararescue Missions and Tactical Air Control Party Missions.
