As an Air National Guard Bioenvironmental Engineer, you're part of a unique team of trained health professionals — professionals working and training part time, getting ready to assist the Armed Forces in time of need. Performing annual training a few weeks a year or on a more prolonged basis if the need arises, you’ll work to ensure the safety of the members of the Armed Forces. Blending engineering and preventive medicine, you'll identify and evaluate potential hazards and develop plans and programs to prevent injuries and illnesses, focusing on industrial hygiene, occupational health, radiological health, and environmental protection.
