As an Air National Guard Biomedical Laboratory Officer, you're part of a unique team of trained health professionals — professionals working and training part time, getting ready to assist the Armed Forces in time of need. Performing annual training a few weeks a year or on a more prolonged basis if the need arises, you'll not only provide precise, accurate lab data and conclusions to health providers, but you'll also have the opportunity to manage a lab, develop and improve procedures, continue your education, teach, and even participate in basic and operational research. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology development, the evaluation of emerging technologies and the implementation of new procedures and processes in clinical and research laboratories.
