Dental Assistant

A career in dentistry can be rewarding, and you can start yours in the Air National Guard. As a Dental Assistant, you’ll be working to maintain the health and functionality of our most valuable asset – our personnel. In this role, you’ll serve as a dental hygienist, cleaning and polishing teeth and instructing patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques. You can even assist in specialty areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, and endodontics. You’ll also gain experience and knowledge that transfers easily into a civilian career.
