As an Air National Guard Dentist, you're part of a unique team of trained health professionals — professionals working and training part time, getting ready to assist the Armed Forces in time of need. Performing annual training a few weeks a year or on a more prolonged basis if the need arises, you'll be adapting the skills and knowledge you’ve gained in your civilian career to the military environment. An Air National Guard Dentist examines, diagnoses, and treats diseases, abnormalities, injuries, and dysfunctional disorders of the oral cavity and its associated structures. You'll administer dental service policy, including establishing and maintaining dental health standards. Dental profession expertise and extensive training is a huge asset to the Air Guard medical team.
