As an Air National Guard Internist, you're part of a unique team of trained health professionals — professionals working and training part time, getting ready to assist the Armed Forces in time of need. You will be performing annual training a few weeks a year, or longer if needed, caring for the men and women of the Armed Forces, their families, and retirees. As an Internist you will be diagnosing and performing non-surgical treatments for diseases of the internal organs. You may also have the opportunity to work with humanitarian outreach programs and victims of natural disasters or conflicts where your skills will be desperately needed.
