Physical Therapist

Nothing is more rewarding than helping patients regain full use of their bodies after an illness or injury. As an Air National Guard Physical Therapist, you're part of a unique team of trained health professionals working and training part time — getting ready to assist the Armed Forces in time of need. Performing annual training a few weeks a year or on a more prolonged basis if the need arises, you’ll be an instrumental figure in the recovery of Armed Service men and women who’ve suffered major physical setbacks at home or on deployment. You’ll give physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and restore normal muscle and joint functions, as well as assist with evaluations and tests to gauge patients’ progress. You’ll gain skills and experience that can easily transfer to a successful civilian career.
