In Albuquerque, we focus on training in Air Mobility, a mission that delivers global air transportation of equipment and supplies during times of war and for peace-time training exercises. This includes providing safe, comfortable and reliable transportation of military personnel or dignitaries anywhere in the world. Additional missions include Special Operations Aircraft, Search and Rescue, Homeland Defense, Air Training, Intelligence and RED HORSE.
The 150th Special Operations Wing will provide combat ready Airmen across a wide spectrum of capabilities to perform dynamic state and federal missions. We will maintain a constant state of readiness to protect the citizens of New Mexico in cases of emergency or natural disaster. We train mission-ready aircrew, perform agile combat support, provide a highly mobile civil engineering response force and produce precision targeting intelligence for the United States Air Force and Joint Warfighters.
