In St. Paul, we focus on Air Mobility, a mission that delivers global air transportation of equipment and supplies during times of war and for peace-time training exercises. This includes providing safe, comfortable and reliable transportation of military personnel or dignitaries anywhere in the world. Additional missions include Engineering and Installation, Weather and Homeland Defense.
Utilizing the C-130 Hercules, the 133rd Airlift Wing provides tactical airlift of troops, cargo and medical patients, along with expeditionary combat support in communications, security forces and civil engineering worldwide. We provide the Air Force a full range of tactical airlift and support missions in response to global mobility and humanitarian requirements, and at home, we deter, respond to and recover from any attack on the U.S., and secure and stabilize the public safety of Minnesota.
